Nature Photography: Birds Nest of 2 eggs

Some trees have chopped down at my place and managed to discover a birds nest and saved the nest and found it outside the front in the garden there was two little eggs. Sadly I don't think they made it. I was just fascinated with the things of what the bird used to make the nest. 

Not to sure what type of bird laid the eggs. Does anyone know what type of bird it is?
